My new media idea includes obtaining rewards points that can transform into money by reading articles, news, and blogs. It will be an app , that will encourage individuals to read. This app will only have scholarly and academic works. It would be like a side job, for many and will contribute to education of individuals by reading. This app will be built to ensure that individuals, are not skipping pages or not reading at all. Every 10 pages will ask 2-3 question related to the last 10 pages. Even though, individuals will not read the entire 10 pages, it will obliged them to read, at a level that will make them come up with an answer. This will be an interactive app as well, that will allow its users to communicate with other users. On the app, it will contain an infinite amount of topics, for everyone's interest. Users will only communicate with other users, that share the same topic of interest. For example, users that are on the subject of "History" will able to interac...

Wiki So Far

I recently found a page, about streaming media on devices. I edited the "Other Services" part. Where it explains, the price of a student deal package, that can be obtained through Spotify for only $ 4.99 monthly. It will included Spotify premium, and Hulu. Therefore, the part that I added was, that recently Spotify for students is providing SHOWTIME as part of the Spotify student deal. I corrected the title adding SHOWTIME, and in the description below, I specify that it is a recent addition.

P2P

File sharing, allows software, digital media or files to be distributed from one computer to another. This files or digital media, can be distributed through a network or the internet. With the use of P2P file sharing technology, it allows any user to access multimedia files like videos, e-books, videos, etc. Users peers, will request files to other peers. Is called P2P file sharing because, the individuals users in the network are referred as peers. Some examples of P2P file sharing are, LimeWire, e-book, applications, Norton antivirus, etc. As the reading from “Peers Find Less Pressure Borrowing From Each Other,” discusses how easy is for any peer or individual to have a loan through an online banking system, without the need of being physical present at the bank location, and that is a lending process of P2P. Privacy

Privacy issues are related to new media because of the information gather by network sites such as Facebook, Google accounts,  Instagram. Information that users share when open accounts are related to their age, genre, race, religion, status, etc. all of this information it can be sell or obtained by companies that need to know what our interests are and make some money out of it. Confidentiality is no longer a thing within these accounts, because it gets share without users approval, with the intention of profiting from it.

Advice

I would improve their Financial aid office services. A way of doing this, is by creating FAQ with Wiki or Blogs. Currently the FAQ that they have on their page are not enough answers and students have questions that are different from the common ones. Having a blog or wiki page, it would permit other students to look for questions that are similar, to their current situation and help each other, instead of making a line in the Financial aid service office. This would save time for both students and the office.
