It can be compared in the sense that once you ask a question, different answers will rise, in both twitter and in-class/blackboard discussion. For instance, if you put your thoughts about a certain topic in twitter, you will get different answers because not everyone has the same opinion, and that is how is similar with an in-class discussion. The interaction happening between the tweets, is the same interaction happening when discussing in-class. Professors ask questions, students respond with different answer, but everyone is talking about the same topic. Now if we compare twitter discussion to a Blackboard discussion is different when is mentioned the limitation that a tweet allows, but it has the same essence of rising different opinions and answers. With twitter one will need to create a thread of tweets in order to include the same quantity of words that a blackboard post allows.

I would improve their Financial aid office services. A way of doing this, is by creating FAQ with Wiki or Blogs. Currently the FAQ that they have on their page are not enough answers and students have questions that are different from the common ones. Having a blog or wiki page, it would permit other students to look for questions that are similar, to their current situation and help each other, instead of making a line in the Financial aid service office. This would save time for both students and the office.

How Social Media Affects Mental Health This is an interesting topic to be discussed, because social media it is affecting people in positive and negative ways. One might think that it only targets the young users, but it is also affecting those who are consider mature and in their adulthood years. Social media can affect any user differently, and that is what my research is going to explore. Whereas one user might experience the negatives of social media such as bullying or self-esteem issues, another might be finding a support community that understands its needs, throughout social networks.
