Blog about Twitter
It can be compared in the sense that once you ask a question,
different answers will rise, in both twitter and in-class/blackboard discussion.
For instance, if you put your thoughts about a certain topic in twitter, you
will get different answers because not everyone has the same opinion, and that
is how is similar with an in-class discussion. The interaction happening
between the tweets, is the same interaction happening when discussing in-class.
Professors ask questions, students respond with different answer, but everyone
is talking about the same topic. Now if we compare twitter discussion to a
Blackboard discussion is different when is mentioned the limitation that a
tweet allows, but it has the same essence of rising different opinions and
answers. With twitter one will need to create a thread of tweets in order to include
the same quantity of words that a blackboard post allows.
