With digitization not only cartoonist can create, but everyone who have imagination and good ideas for creativity. New media allows everyone to create a music, music videos, interactive books throughout different platforms. As explain on the article from the New York Times “Disney Tolerates a Rap Parody of Its Critters. But Why?,” individuals can create funny videos that include animations from Disney movies or cartoons, these mash-ups videos allow them to put their imagination into funny videos and make them viral.
Another example of how new media contributes with creativity is by creators relying on twitter posts from consumers. As said in the article “Twitter Serves Up Ideas From Its Followers,” products are created after observing what users or consumers are tweeting about, therefore it can be said that new media intermediates for creativity to these product developers.

I would improve their Financial aid office services. A way of doing this, is by creating FAQ with Wiki or Blogs. Currently the FAQ that they have on their page are not enough answers and students have questions that are different from the common ones. Having a blog or wiki page, it would permit other students to look for questions that are similar, to their current situation and help each other, instead of making a line in the Financial aid service office. This would save time for both students and the office.

My new media idea includes obtaining rewards points that can transform into money by reading articles, news, and blogs. It will be an app , that will encourage individuals to read. This app will only have scholarly and academic works. It would be like a side job, for many and will contribute to education of individuals by reading. This app will be built to ensure that individuals, are not skipping pages or not reading at all. Every 10 pages will ask 2-3 question related to the last 10 pages. How Social Media Affects Mental Health This is an interesting topic to be discussed, because social media it is affecting people in positive and negative ways. One might think that it only targets the young users, but it is also affecting those who are consider mature and in their adulthood years. Social media can affect any user differently, and that is what my research is going to explore. Whereas one user might experience the negatives of social media such as bullying or self-esteem issues, another might be finding a support community that understands its needs, throughout social networks.
